Long Birch Lodge

Very spacious vacation home rentals. Boat slip was 10 foot off the patio. Rooms were very clean. Owner was very easy to contact. Discussed COVID-19 policies and procedures with resort owner, they are running a safe and effective operation that any guest should feel comfortable staying there. Their beds and plethora of pillows were very comfy. If I get the chance to stay again, I will not hesitate to rebook.

We visited Long Birch Lodge over the 4th of July this year and stayed in Cabin 8. We had two adults, two kids and two dogs and It was perfect for us. We were right next to the water and the cabin was exactly what we pictured. I came here as a kid and it was just as good as I remember. They have lots at the beach area to use, paddle boats, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. The campground is a short walk to town and the kids enjoyed riding their bikes there since it was so close. The price was fair and the people we met we're great. We will be returning next year!

Last weekend September 23, 2017, my brother and our two son's stayed in cabin # 6 and it was very clean and like brand new. The owner was outstanding and I would recommend anyone to stay at this resort. John Sebeck

This is by far the best resort in the area. If you are looking for a fun, convenient, and well up kept resort, Long Birch Lodge is the place to go. Mandy and Nate are the most friendliest people/hosts I have ever met. You won't be disappointed.

My family and I have a family Christmas in January in Longville and have for many years and in those years we had stayed at a few places in town and had horrible experiences. We had almost given up hope on finding something nice in our budget before finding this gem.The vacation home we stayed in was HUGE! Beautifully done and clean. The kitchen has everything you could need, large table for everyone, we had 12 people, and they’re even pet friendly! The owners are so nice and helpful. Will be recommending this place to everyone. Such a great experience! We will be back.

My family and I just returned from this resort, our first visit. We loved this resort!! Very clean, owners very helpful, caught fish!! Our vacation house was beautiful!! They maintained the resort very nice!! Many things for kids to do. Even with the virus going on. Will be going back next year!! Hopefully for many years to come.

The fishing was good for our 8 men group. We caught many large mouth Bass, Northern Pike, ring perch, blue gills and rock bass. We are high energy fishermen, casting the clear water, shore lines and docks with white weed less and Lilly pad type lures. And live Minnows for the ring perch. Although the lake level (summer drought) is down, we just paid attention to going slow in shallow water and bays. My GPS map on the depth scanner Indicated a 3 foot difference. The actual water level seemed to be down a little over 12 inches. The cabin/ lodge and office administration was great. We had no surprises from our reasonable requests. A benefit you may not appreciate from the website. You are walking distance to groceries, gas, bait, and restaurants. You will also notice, the lodge is accessible to water level with a low slope to the lighted docks. Finally, this environment is family friendly to all, including the older fishermen.

We have stayed at The Long Birch Resort many times. Summer and winter both. We have NEVER had a bad experience or a problem in any regards to the resort or staff. They have a 5 Star resort and the location is excellent. The resort homes are VERY nice. Great floor plans. The chain of lakes Long Birch is nestled on is one the prettiest and most desired lake properties in this part of the state. The water is clear and clean plenty of sand to swim and water sports. If you enjoy fishing Girl and Woman have it all. Excellent angling opportunities. You will not be disappointed. Nate and Mandy are constantly updating and working to keep their Resort looking and feeling like home away from home.
